I couldn’t be more pleased with the care Katie provided for my two small dogs while I was away. From the moment I met her, I could tell she was genuinely passionate about animals - making sure they had no allergies, taking notes regarding their needs and letting me know about her extensive dog training education/background.
She also made special frozen treats for the dogs which they absolutely loved. Katie kept the house was in order, and provided me with updates- giving me peace of mind while I was gone. It was clear she treated my dogs like her own, and I’m so grateful for the care she provided while we were away.

We have used Katie's services for dog sitting and have been very pleased. She's great with the dogs, and very knowledgeable about dog temperament and how to train them and care for them.
We have 2 dogs. One is a very energetic puppy, who gets along with everyone. The other one is a very anxious 4 year old dog. She was a Covid puppy, who we adopted when she was 15 weeks old. She has always been terribly afraid of new people and new situations. Knowing this, Katie made a plan to get to know her and let our fearful dog get comfortable with her. That entailed making multiple trips to our home in advance of the dog sitting period.
Her experience with training dogs was very clearly demonstrated. Katie had a great approach, never pushing hard, just patiently letting our dog get accustomed to her. We were able to go on vacation knowing that our dogs were in good hands. When we returned home, it was clear that the dogs were well cared for, and happy and calm. It was a great experience for both dogs, and for us as well .She is our go-to person for taking care of our dogs.

I am very happy to write this letter of recommendation for Katie. Katie was my dog walker for my goldendoodle (Lucy) last summer and she was a huge help. Katie was punctual and conscientious. I could always count on her arriving when she said she would and taking time the time with Lucy that she needed.
When I arrived home the house was always clean and orderly, the doors were locked, and my dog was happy and tired! Often times, Katie would bring Lucy to a neighbor’s house to play with another dog for an hour or two, which was quite a treat for them. Lucy once hurt her paw during play and Katie was quick to let me know so I could pick her up to go to the vet. She ended up being just fine, but I was so appreciative that she called me right away and was calm during that call.
She always made the right decisions and I felt 100% comfortable to have her as Lucy’s caregiver that summer. Katie is a serious-minded and intelligent young lady, but she is also a very pleasant person and has a welcoming smile. She can maintain a conversation with adults and has a winning personality for all ages. I give her my highest recommendation
